Benderson has retail plans for North Park Library site

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)-– Benderson Development is reportedly bidding to acquire the long vacant North Park Library Branch at Hertel and Delaware.

Business First reports the development company was the highest of three bidders for the property at $350,000.

Benderson would demolish the two-story building which was erected around 1925 to make way for an undisclosed retail development.

The Common Council is expected to give a green light to the project.
