JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Deputies say a teen who sped past two vehicles on a double yellow line was driving while impaired by drugs.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Jared McMaster passed two vehicles at 60 MPH in a 30 MPH on Baker Street in Jamestown around 8:30 p.m. last Thursday. After pulling the Ashville teen over, deputies say they found he was impaired by drugs.
McMaster was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and passing in a no passing zone.
After being processed and tested, McMaster was released. He is due back in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
