BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Buffalo man will spend 16 years in prison for robbery and extortion. Kashika Speed, 42, was sentenced Thursday in federal court.
Prosecutors said in February of 2005, Speed and others broke into the drug dealer’s home. Once inside, Speed restrained the man and ordered the him to provide drugs while holding him at gunpoint. The dealer called an associate, who delivered two kilos of cocaine, at which point Speed and his accomplices freed the drug dealer.
Charges are pending against three other suspects.
