Accident on East Utica sends 3 to ECMC

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Buffalo police are investigating an overnight incident that occurred on East Utica near Michigan Avenue around 4 a.m.

Buffalo Police Accident Investigators say a 26 year-old male driver was traveling on East Utica when he apparently lost control of the vehicle on the wet pavement and struck a tree.

Two female passengers in their 20’s were able to climb out of the vehicle  and were transported to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries. One has been treated and released.

The male driver had to be extricated by Buffalo fire and is listed in serious condition at ECMC.

No charges have been filed at this time.
