Teens accused of armed robberies

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) – Three teens were arrested after the investigation into two separate armed robberies. Dunkirk Police said the suspects would drive up to victims, get out of their vehicle and display knives and a baseball bat.

Police said they spotted the suspects’ vehicle and made a traffic stop on Sixth Street, in Dunkirk, early Monday morning. Police arrested two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old.

The teens are facing robbery, weapon and stolen property charges. They arraigned and taken to Chautauqua County Jail on $40,000 cash of $80,000 property bail.
