Arson investigators looking into cause of train track fire

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Arson investigators are looking into the cause of a train track fire on Buffalo’s east side.

The fire started near Swinburne and Amity Streets.

The fire battalion chief on scene said the location of the fire made it tricky to get to. Crews were afraid the train would start moving if they climbed over or between the train cars.

The fire did not do any damage, but it was deemed suspicious.
