School gives back to Women and Children’s Hospital

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – Students at Amherst Middle School are working together to help Buffalo Women and Children’s Hospital. School staff collected money and Wednesday morning they presented a check to Kaleida Health.

Amherst Middle School teacher Paula Kalunzny said, “They’re extremely excited. They have never had this commitment before. They are very delighted to increase their resources in their family and resource center.”

Students are raising more money through a talent show to supply computers and e-readers for the hospital’s family resource center. Students will also be collecting books and teddy bears for patients at the hospital.
