Thieves steal picnic grills during the Bills game

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) While thousands of Bills fans were cheering on their team to a last second victory, thieves were at work outside Ralph Wilson Stadium.

The Orchard Park Police arrested 21 year old Charles Andrews of Lee, New York, and 26 year old John Wagner of Rome, New York, for allegedly stealing picnic grills from a lot on the east side of Ralph Wilson Stadium during Sunday’s game. The grills likely belonged to tailgaters.

According to a police report, the two men were initially charged with petit larceny and possession of stolen property. Their bail was set at $150 each. They were picked up on Big Tree Road.

If you are missing a grill from that area of the stadium, you are encouraged to call the Orchard Park Police at 716-662-6444.

The investigating officers are Detective Payne and Officer K. Mazur. The officers were off duty Monday evening, and no further information on the alleged theft is currently available.
