Driver accused of having pot and dagger

NORTH HARMONY, N.Y. (WIVB) – A driver is accused of having marijuana and a dagger with him in his vehicle early Wednesday morning. New York State Police said 34-year-old Bryan R. Moody was stopped in North Harmony for speeding.

A police K9 detected marijuana during the traffic stop around 7 a.m. Wednesday. Police said Moody and his passenger, 36-year-old Paul E. Gibbs, were found in possession of marijuana. Both men are from Erie, Pennsylvania.

Police said Moody was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
