BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Buffalo Sabres signing Williamsville native Justin Bailey to his entry-level contract Sunday, welcoming the 2013 2nd round pick into the fold.
Bailey has been on a tear to open the season with his junior team in Kitchener, leading his team with 18 points (9 goals, 9 assists) in 13 games this year in the OHL.
“Proud to be from Buffalo and one step closer to achieving my dream! Thanks to my family, friends, teammates, and all who have supported me!,” Bailey wrote on his twitter account Sunday night.
The Sabres drafted Bailey in the second round with the 52nd overall pick in 2013.
