Schwabl’s reopens 11 months after SUV crashed into it

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) – You can once again get a beef on weck at Schwabl’s in West Seneca.

The famous WNY landmark restaurant has been closed for 11 months after an SUV rammed into the restaurant.

Schwabl’s cut the ribbon on its newly restored building Sunday and the owners thanked all their loyal customers for standing by them while they were closed during construction.

Schwabl’s has been open since 1837.
