YORKSHIRE, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man is accused of going to a property on McKinstry Road, in Yorkshire, and firing several rounds from a handgun while yelling threats. New York State Police said 50-year-old Michael Czarnecki was drunk when the alleged incident happened Saturday evening.
Police said Czarnecki trespassed on the complainant’s property, complied with the request to leave and then allegedly returned and fired the shots. Police said they stopped him after he left the property.
Czarnecki allegedly had a handgun in his possession. He is accused of having a .23 percent BAC. He is facing menacing, reckless endangerment, trespass and aggravated DWI charges. The property owner was issued an order of protection from him.
He was released on his own recognizance and will be in court at a later date.
