IRS leader to visit Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Internal Revenue Service’s John Koskinen will be in the Queen City on Thursday.  This will be his first visit to Buffalo since becoming the head of the IRS 11 months ago.

He’ll be talking about the agency’s challenges to provide service to taxpayers, phone scams involving IRS impersonators and how the affordable care act will affect the upcoming tax season.

The press conference will be at 2 p.m. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
