Judge denies request to impound voting machines

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – State Supreme Court Justice Moriarty denied Marc Panepinto’s request to have voting machines impounded after the polls close Tuesday night, News 4 has learned. Marc Panepinto is a candidate for the New York State Senate’s 60th district seat.

Sources tell News 4, polling shows a close race between Panepinto, a Democrat, and his opponents, incumbent Mark Grisanti, running on the Independent line, and Republican Kevin Stocker.  Timothy Gallagher is running on the Conservative party line. All four candidates are lawyers.

The race for the 60th district seat has been a heated one.
