PORT CHESTER, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Connecticut man may have had the munchies after a routine traffic stop led to a DWI arrest in Port Chester Sunday. State Troopers said Kenneth Desormes attempted to eat the results of his breathalyzer test.
Troopers pulled Desormes, 40, over for speeding on I-95, but said they brought him in for processing after deciding he was intoxicated. While holding Desormes, police administered a breathalyzer test. When the printer printed out the results, Troopers say he grabbed, then attempted to eat it. His results indicated he had a 0.13 percent blood alcohol content.
In addition to facing misdemeanor charges for a DWI, Desormes faces second degree obstructing governmental administration and third degree criminal tampering.
