Update: Toddler struck by bus in stable condition

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Update: The two-year-old struck by a small school bus in the city’s west side was listed in stable condition at Women and Children’s Hospital Wednesday.

According to Buffalo police, witnesses told investigators the toddler apparently darted into the intersection of West Delavan and Parkdale just before 3 p.m. Monday.

The child, whose name has not been released, was first listed at Women and Children’s as in critical condition. No one else was hurt.

Police say the accident remains under investigation.
