(716) Food and Sport opens at HARBORcenter

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The new restaurant at HARBORcenter, (716) Food and Sport, officially opened at 3 p.m. Friday. The bar and restaurant boasts the largest restaurant screen in the continental United States with a 38-foot video screen. Bathrooms also include video screens embedded into the mirrors.

“I think it’s great the Pegulas have done a lot for the city and the whole area with the Sabres, the Bills, building stadiums for their alumni, I think it’s just great,” Paul Bussman, a (716) customer, said.

Fans heading to the Buffalo Sabres game at the First Niagara Center on Friday night can stop in to check out the much-anticipated restaurant before or after the game.

The grand opening of HARBORcenter started last week, with a Tim Hortons restaurant and two ice rinks opening to the public.

With a walkway connecting HARBORcenter and First Niagara Center, Buffalo is now home to the only three-rink complex in the National Hockey League.
