Cheektowaga comeback win highlights Friday slate at the Ralph

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) – Cheektowaga came back from a 21-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat Bennett in Friday’s Section VI, Class B championship, 40-34.

The Warriors opened the scoring, but Bennett reeled off 28 straight points, for a 28-7 lead going into the fourth. Cheektowaga went on a 27-0 run of its own to take the lead, only to see the Tigers respond to tie the game at 34.

With just five seconds left in the game, Cheektowaga quarterback Zak Ciezki hit Stephan Parker for the game-winning touchdown, giving the Warriors the victory.

In the Class C title game, Maple Grove steamrolled Southwestern, winning 37-7.
