Veterans Day Parade begins at 11 a.m. Saturday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Veterans groups, civic groups and other supporters will march in the 2014 Veterans Day Parade, in Buffalo, Saturday. The parade will stretch from Delaware Avenue and Edward Street to Buffalo City Hall.

The parade will step off at 11 a.m. Everyone is invited to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

There will be several events to honor the nation’s veterans over the next few days. At noon on Saturday, the CSEA will host a cereomy at the Buffalo Naval and Military Park. Buffalo United Charter School is hosting “Bring a Veteran to School Day” on Monday afternoon. There will be Veterans Day Ceremonies at Forest Lawn on Tuesday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
