ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Members of the Army National Guard will unfurl a giant American flag on the field during Sunday’s Buffalo Bills game.

The plans are part of Military Appreciation Day at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

New York’s Division of Military and Naval Affairs says the spotlight at half-time will be on 50 soldiers who will reaffirm their oath of enlistment.

Two soldiers will receive special recognition. They are Specialist Tanika Mack of the Buffalo-based 153rd Troop Command for her service during Superstorm Sandy and Staff Sgt. Ethan Hall of the 42nd Infantry Division, who earned the Combat Infantryman’s Badge during a deployment in Afghanistan. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
