ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Bills need a short memory this week, coming off Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs with only three days to prepare for a Thursday night matchup against Miami.

“It’s hard, but it’s something that you have to do. You can’t let one loss turn into two, especially with a quick turnaround,” said defensive tackle Kyle Williams. “The tough thing and the great thing about this league is that there’s the next week. You have to get prepared for it, especially a Thursday night game.”

The Bills’ coaching staff worked well into the night, sleeping at the team facilities in order to get as much prep work in as possible.

“We just played a game yesterday. Tomorrow is more like a Saturday or Friday type of practice. You’re trying to get it to where you can make sure that they’re prepared and ready to go and seeing things at a speed that they’re going to see in four short days,” said head coach Doug Marrone.

The Bills visit Miami Thursday night at 8:25pm, with Channel 4 carrying the game. The News 4 Sports Pregame Report will begin at 7:30pm that night, with the News 4 Sports Postgame Show immediately following the game. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
