Buffalo mayor releases 2015 capital budget

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown revealed his 2015 $26 million capital budget at 9 a.m. Monday. He explained what he hopes to get done in the Queen City this year.

The plan includes funding for infrastructure improvements, public safety, and support for parks, the Buffalo Zoo, Coca-Cola Field, The Buffalo Museum of Science, libraries and arts and cultural organizations.

Brown said, “This development that is happening in different areas of the city is going to benefit residents in every single area of the city of Buffalo.”

The common council has until December 15th to adopt the budget. Brown said the plan will continue to raise the quality of life for Buffalo residents.
