Police charge men with attempted murder

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two men are charged with attempted murder after a shooting that happened at the Appleyard Terrace Apartment Complex, in Jamestown, in September. Police said Trenton L. Grant and Isaiah T. Pearson, both 20, fled to Tennessee in the days after the shooting and were extradited back to Jamestown in October.

Police said Grant and Pearson were involved in a shooting that happened on September 2nd, and a burglary where a handgun was stolen from a Lakewood home.

They face attempted murder, assault, weapon, burglary and grand larceny charges. Police said the men are being held at Chautauqua County Jail.  Grant is being held on $750,000 cash or $1.5 million property bond. Pearson is being held on $500,000 cash or $1 million bond.
