Driver found to have 10 active suspensions

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) – A driver was arrested during a traffic stop for having 10 active suspensions on his license. An Erie County Sheriff’s deputy stopped 40-year-old Donald Shaw, of Lockport, just after midnight Friday on Transit Road.

Shaw was stopped for not having proper lighting, when the sheriff’s office discovered the active suspensions for failure to pay fines.

Shaw was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving without a proper license and equipment violations. Shaw was taken to the Erie County Holding Center on $2,500 bail.
