Police in the Catskills searching for missing WNY truck

LIBERTY, N.Y. (WIVB) — State Troopers in Liberty say a truck from Western New York went missing on a construction site on Route 17.

Amstar of western New York, a construction company which was working construction at the site, owns the large 2004 Mack truck. Despite being plastered with the company’s logo, the truck disappeared from the site between Friday night and Monday morning.

Police say the tractor was stolen, but the trailer was left behind. They said to keep an eye out for the license plate number 17039TC.

Any person with information is asked to call State Police investigators at (845) 292-6600.
