Woman arrested for threatening with a rake

ALABAMA, N.Y. (WIVB) — State Troopers in Batavia responded to a dispute between neighbors, one of which was threatening the other with a metal rake, in the Town of Alabama Saturday.

Troopers arrested Leeann Mullen, 54, near her residence in Alabama, N.Y. Saturday and charged her with second degree menacing and trespassing.

An investigation showed Mullen threatened her neighbor with the metal rake on her neighbor’s lawn while her neighbor was walking her dog. Troopers were assisted by Genesee County Sheriff’s officers in Mullen’s arrest.

Mullen was remanded to Genesee County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. She will reappear in court on Dec. 4.
