Cheektowaga’s season comes to an end


ROCHESTER, NY (WIVB)– Cheektowaga faced Maine-Endwell in the Class B state semifinal game at Sahlen’s stadium in Rochester on Sunday. After a strong start by Maine-Endwell, Cheektowaga trailed the entire game. The Warriors ultimately lost 54-28, ending their season and hopes of a state championship. The win extends Maine-Endwell’s winning streak to 50 straight victories.

The game marks the first time Cheektowaga made it to the semifinal round of the state tournament. The Warriors ended their season at 9-3.

Maine-Endwell will take on Schalmont next Sunday in Syracuse at the Carrier Dome.
