Felon admits trying to re-enter the US

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A convicted felon admitted to trying to re-enter the United States, at the Rainbow Bridge, in June. Fernando DeAzevedo Melo, 46, was previously removed from the US because of a previous felony conviction.

DeAzevedo Melo needed permission to reapply for admission into the US. He tried to enter into Niagara Falls and was charged with felony.

DeAzevedo Melo will learned his sentence on March 6th.
