Man allegedly violated order, stole property

MEDINA, N.Y. (WIVB) – New York State Police said a Medina man violated an order of protection, when he entered a home and stole property. Gerardo Quiros, 28, is facing felony charges after the incident on Tuesday.

Police said Quiros entered a protected person’s home, damaged property and stole items from the residence. He is charged with four felony charges, including burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief and criminal contempt.

He was arrested and arraigned in the Town of Lockport. He was taken to Niagara County Jail on $30,000 cash bail and is schedule to appear before the Town of Royalton Court. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
