Jamestown and Randolph win state championships

Jamestown and Randolph win state titles.


SYRACUSE, NY (WIVB) – In high school football on Saturday afternoon Canisius won the Monsignor Martin title with a 35-8 win over Bishop Timon.

Randolph and Jamestown played at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse on Saturday where they both won state championships. Randolph defeated Chester 48-41. Bryce Morrison scored the go-ahead touchdown with less than a minute to play. The win marks Randolph’s third consecutive state title.

Jamestown beat Newburgh Free Academy 41-20. The Red Raiders led the entire game. Jamestown quarterback Nikk Holland went 15-24 for 280 yards and one touchdown en route to the Red Raiders win.
