ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Bills are still in the playoff conversation, going into the season’s final month. That alone, could be seen as progress this year.

“We haven’t played a meaningful game in December in a long time,” said running back Fred Jackson. “This is something that, we have the opportunity, we have to take advantage of it. This opportunity doesn’t come every year, we have it. Our coaching job will do a tremendous job pounding it into our heads. Older guys who have been here got to do the same.”

The Bills are 7-5, and despite a difficult schedule over the last four weeks, still have a legitimate shot at a playoff spot. As it stands right now, two other 7-5 teams are ahead of Buffalo in the standings – Miami and Kansas City, both teams who beat the Bills last month. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
