Dunkirk man sentenced for gun and drug charges

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 28-year-old from Dunkirk is facing six and a half years behind bars after he appeared today in federal court in Buffalo.

Christopher Marcinkowski was convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking after a police raid in 2012 at his Dunkirk residence found Marcinkowski throw a sawed-off shotgun from a window. Officers found a marijuana growing operation in the home along with cocaine and drug packaging materials.

Jessica Mann, another person in the residence, was convicted of maintaining a drug-involved premises and was sentenced to time served and three years supervised release.
