Tractor trailer crash closes Thruway near Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WIVB) – A tractor trailer accident closed three exits of the New York State Thruway on Wednesday.

A tractor trailer jackknifed and closed a section of I-90. New York State Police said Exits 37, 38 and 29 are closed to entering traffic.

Another road is closed in the Syracuse region due to heavy snow and disabled vehicles. State Police report, I-81 Southbound from I-481 Exit 16A for Syracuse to Exit 17 for Tully is closed due to heavy snow and disabled vehicles.

Some snow expected in western New York may impact traffic over the next couple days. Officials state they are ready to deal with wintry weather.
