Thurman Thomas to promote good health at school

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Buffalo Bills hall of famer will be promoting healthy eating and exercise Tuesday. Thurman Thomas is helping to kick off “Fuel Up to Play 60” program.

Thomas will speak to the students about the importance of healthy eating and daily physical activity, the cornerstone of the in-school program, sponsored by the National Football League and local dairy farmers.

They’ll be unveiling new yogurt bars at Southside Elementary that a grant helped paid for.
