Bills add Spiller to the 53-man roster

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Bills Friday announced they’d be adding RB C.J. Spiller to the 53-man roster.

The organization made moves to add the running back, who has 12 touchdowns on his career, back into the roster after placing him in injured reserve earlier this season.

Fullback Frank Summers was cut from the roster leading up to the decision.

Bills officials have listed Spiller as probable. He’s been working towards coming back, and has been gradually reintroduced to practices. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
