Brothers serve dinner to the homeless

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two young brothers are getting into the giving spirit this holiday season.

Jeremiah and Joshua West thought of the idea to throw a Christmas party for the homeless last year.

It started as a small charity event in Rochester, but they expanded the party to Buffalo.

A group donated food, barbers came to give free haircuts and people came to donate gifts to everyone who attended.

Joshua and Jeremiah tell News 4 they wanted to throw the party because it feels good to give back. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
