16-year-old female killed in overnight shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo police have confirmed that one female has died following a shooting on Grant Street Friday night.Grant

More than a dozen first response vehicles were on the scene at Grant and Bradley around 11:30 p.m. near Buffalo State College.

Both the female and a 20 year old male were transported to ECMC after being struck by gunfire while in a vehicle. The male is in serious condition and the incident is under investigation.

Another shooting around 10 p.m. at Langfield and Suffolk on Buffalo’s east side near Bailey Ave sparked a police investigation. Police on the scene were seen measuring and examining bullet holes in a car at the scene. Investigators say one person was shot but injuries don’t appear to be serious.
