Crews knocked down the flames pretty quickly, but there was one challenge.
Buffalo Fire Department Division Chief Michael Biasillo said, “We did have one problem with the hydrant, but we will have the water department look at it.”
“We had another company stretch a few lines so it wasn’t a huge problem, just a little delay,” Biasillo explained.
Crews said it appears the house is vacant. The fire caused thousands of dollars in damage to the home and the contents inside.
