Woman in Chautauqua County surrenders dogs

SINCLAIRVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) — Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded with animal control and the Chautauqua County Humane Society to rescue dogs they say had inadequate housing.

Around 3:00 p.m. Friday officers responded to 2230 Mill Creek Road to investigate an animal complaint. When they arrived, they found dogs which didn’t have appropriate living conditions.

Responding officers said Jackie Wisniewski, 51, surrendered her dogs at the request of Sheriff’s Deputies.

The Chautauqua County Humane Society took the dogs, and an investigation is continuing.
