Cops: Drunk Rochester woman steals cab, hits police cruiser

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Police say a 34-year-old woman was drunk when she stole a taxi cab in Rochester and hit a marked police cruiser, injuring an officer.

Officials tell local media that officers were called Monday morning for a report of a taxi being stolen in the area of Culver Road and Parsells Avenue.

Police say they found the vehicle and during their investigation the woman drove the cab into a police car occupied by an officer. He was treated at a Rochester hospital and released.
