New grand marshal chosen for St. Patrick’s Day Parade

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A new grand marshal has been chosen to lead Buffalo’s 75th St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Denice Morrison from Darien Center was elected by the Irish American Association of Erie County. She will lead the Diamond Jubilee Parade down Delaware Avenue on March 15th.

“It’s very exciting,” said Morrison. “My sister is now a Division Marshal as well, so we wanted to keep it within the family. It definitely is all about family and all about community, and it is an honor to be part of this.”
