Amherst Police searching for person of interest

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) — Amherst Police are attempting to identify a person who they say may have stolen from a local shopping center. The person is shown in the surveillance photo above.

Police have already identified one person who they were looking to identify in connection with this incident. That person’s photo is included in the text of this story.

Police said two people in their twenties may have stolen a valuable item from an Amherst store on December 14. They say they may have fled in a green Ford Escort.

Police say they’re persons of interest in the robbery at the moment, and they need to talk to them.
