Man in parked vehicle faces drug charges

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Lackawanna man is accused of having drugs in his vehicle overnight, when he was parked alongside a closed business in Dunkirk.

Police approached the vehicle on Fourth Street around 1:30 a.m. They said 25-year-old David Marrano was in the driver’s seat, with cocaine next to him.

According to police, they found more cocaine, pills that were not prescribed to Marrano, and marijuana inside the vehicle.

Marrano was arrested on a felony drug charge, four misdemeanor drug charges and a violation. He was transported to Dunkirk Police Headquarters where he was held without bail pending arraignment. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
