Big first half leads Bandits past Minnesota 15-12

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Buffalo Bandits, back home for the first time in nearly four weeks, seemed to enjoy the surroundings tonight in a 15-12 win over Minnesota.

The Bandits jumped out to a big lead in the first half, scoring five in the first quarter, then six in the second for an 11-3 lead at halftime.

Jerome Thompson scored four goals, with Ryan Benesch and Mark Steenhuis adding three apiece. Steenhuis also had four assists on the night. Dhane Smith chipped in five assists.
