Trust fails to sell Hoskins’ horses

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Beth Hoskins missed yet another deadline to reduce the number of horses in her herd.

A civil judge ordered the trust caring for Hoskins’ horses to sell 32 of her horses by January 31st. Hoskins is currently in jail, which is why the two members of her trust say they haven’t sold them yet.

The SPCA was upset because they’ve given the trust a list of 30 names of willing buyers.

The judge set a court date for February 24, by which the 32 horses must be sold or Hoskins could face additional jail time, and a new trust assigned.

Hoskins is due to be released form jail in Alden on February 6th.
