Two stores allegedly sold alcohol to minors

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two convenience stores allowed underage people to buy alcohol during an enforcement detail Sunday, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office. Twenty stores were checked by deputies, New York State Troopers and New York State Liquor Authority agents.

Deputies said they arrested 21-year-old Max C. Hillman, an employee of Hyde Park Mini Mart, on Hyde Park Boulevard, in Niagara Falls. In Lockport, deputies arrested 32-year-old Jeffrey T. Wittcop, an employee of Arrowmart on Sunset Drive.

Hillman and Wittcop are facing misdemeanor charges of unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sales.
