New class of New York State Troopers graduates

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) — A fresh class of New York State Troopers are joining the ranks of their senior troopers.

A graduation ceremony for over 200 green troopers wrapped up in Albany Tuesday, and it even included a trooper from western New York.

Nicholas Nolder from Cheektowaga will head to Troop E, the Trooper unit assigned to the Finger Lakes region of the state.

“Right now it’s surreal to me,” Nolder said. “Twenty-six weeks, it feels like yesterday. I’ll have to wait until next week to tell you what it feels like.”
