Library branch closes due to electrical fire

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – An electrical fire broke out at the East Clinton Branch Library around 9 a.m. Tuesday, according to Joy Testa Cinquino, from the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library System.

The library, at 1929 Clinton Street, in Buffalo, was not open at the time of the fire.

The library will be closed until further notice. Testa Cinquino said they are assessing the damage and will work with the City of Buffalo, owners of the building, to determine when it will be reopened.
