Jamestown police make 4 heroin arrests

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police in Jamestown are investigating four people after two heroin busts Tuesday afternoon.

Jamestown Police Officers say they arrested people in two separate raids on Crescent Street and Lafayette Street by members of the Jamestown SWAT team, officers and investigators.

They say on Crescent Street, officials found three packages of heroin, powder cocaine, prescription pills and a large amount of cash. They arrested Carlos Juan Gonzalez-Diaz, 30, Iris Blanco-Rivera, 31, and Rolando Garcia, 50. Police say each was charged with drug related charges.

On Lafayette street, police say they arrested Alexander D. Mercado, 35, on drug charges after finding two packages of heroin and a stash of cash.

Police say each is currently in the city jail awaiting arraignment.
