Mail deliveries stop at local apartment complex

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Residents in one Buffalo apartment complex aren’t getting their mail deliveries.

People living in the Towne Gardens Complex are asked to pick up their mail at the post office, as delivery has been postponed due to ice and snow accumulations.

Council President Darius Pridgen says Towne Gardens is letting its residents down.

“We have been trying to deal with the management of Towne Gardens now for almost three years,” Pridgen said. “In the summer, they do not take care of it. Obviously in the winter they don’t. We have a court date pending for March. And this is just another portion of the evidence that we want to present the judge.”

The United States Postal Service says it will not resume deliveries until the snow and ice is taken care of. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
